For now, I have included an excerpt from a newspaper article

The Times Jul 26 1906
The Metropolitan Police Enquiry - Police-constable E.W. Wellbelove, 333 C.D., said he was on duty outside Vine-street Police-station and he saw Divers come in with Timmins in his custody, and then the other two officers with the other prisoners. The constables had hold of the men by the arms. There was no pushing at all. Nothing like the roughness that Dr. Gerothwohl complained of took place.

Photo of Ernest kindly provided by Rose Harkness, (wife of Grandson of one of Ernest's sister's).
